GO! 2008 Mission Accomplished
GO! 2008Missions is at the heart of all that we do as Christians. It is through missions that we strive to complete the Great Commission that Jesus gave us. It is through missions that we learn to love the world as God the Father loves it. It is through missions that we see the impact of the Holy Spirit as he uses us to reach those who need Christ.

During Live The Great Summit 2007, we were charged to "GO. . .Before the Lord, Beyond Ourselves, To the Ends of the Earth." God presented us with a variety of missions projects, and we are trusting him to provide the resources to complete these works. We want to be a church that ministers the love of Christ to people at home and abroad. In fact, until we better master the art of loving our neighbor, what right do we have to extend the message of Christ to the world?

Below is a list of completed projects and trip reports; visit the Available Trips section to find out how you can participate!

Trip Types

Cultural Discovery
Our church offers opportunities to expose believers to other cultures and ways of life. These trips are a great way to gain education in cross-cultural ministry. Some international trips may be more advanced to facilitate ministry to specific cultures and geographical areas.

Discipleship
The purpose of these trips is to train local churches and believers in biblical discipleship. Though sharing the approach we take at KCBT, participants will be sensitive to the local culture and needs of the specific local church.

Evangelistic
The purpose of these trips is primarily evangelistic. Teams strive to work in cooperation with local churches where converts can be discipled.

Short Term: 3 Months to 1 Year
These trips give you the chance to stay in a country and work closely with pastors and local leadership for several months. Past opportunities include teaching English as a Second Language, helping with summer camps and conferences, or studying abroad as an international students.

Special Projects
This category covers a broad range of possibilities. The trip's purpose may be participation in a building project or assistance in humanitarian and social efforts in cooperation with local believers. These trips may also involve being servants to pastors, missionaries, or local churches in any special needs they may have.
